Patricio Ignado started the match with the kick off. Hipolito Mederi's late challenge caught a Payogasta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Mederi helped the player get up and apologised. Hipolito Herena made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gilberto Lluciano sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gilberto Lluciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Payogasta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Lluciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Herena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Ignado in the 14th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Patricio Ignado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Payogasta FC's Edgard Gagriel. Edgard Gagriel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teofilo Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Millan in the 26th minute of the match. With his leg Hipolito Herena managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Payogasta FC's Gilberto Lluciano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th minute Arsenio Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Neild AFC's Teofilo Millan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Gagriel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patricio Ignado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Payogasta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Neild AFC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Arsenio Reno made the kick off in the second half. Neild AFC's Hipolito Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Reno in the 51st minute of play. Gilberto Lluciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Herena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Arsenio Reno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Arsenio Reno came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Payogasta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Reno couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Neild AFC! Teofilo Millan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Gagriel having to interfere. Edgard Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Ignado in the 74th minute of the match. If Teofilo Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Lluciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Gagriel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 92 minutes of play, Payogasta FC's Arsenio Reno made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hipolito Herena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Payogasta FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Neild AFC had controlled the match.
