Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Timoteo Argi got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Caspichango AFC's Damian Dimas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Valentine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Damian Dimas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Bernardo Valentine made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Varela's Zacarias Cordearo got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Varela's zone, Damian Dimas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Valentine came out of the goal and Damian Dimas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Caspichango AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rolando Tuste hit a great ball. If Timoteo Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Damian Dimas came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Caspichango AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Dimas couldn't finish the play. Bruno Horado's late challenge caught a Varela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Horado helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Varela booed when Caspichango AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Horado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Aquilino Banegas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Damian Dimas came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Caspichango AFC fans jumped to their feet. Timoteo Argi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, one of Varela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Varela. The goalkeeper, Bernardo Valentine, was totally fooled by Caspichango AFC's Gaspar Osorio, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bernardo Valentine made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Damian Dimas sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the game, Timoteo Argi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Valentine. Timoteo Argi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquilino Banegas was the one to do the kick off. Godofredo Guilabertus's late challenge caught a Varela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Guilabertus helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Caspichango AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Varela:s goal. When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, Varela's Igor Guerau got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lorenzo Guillen. In the 59th minute Damian Dimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Uxio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Timoteo Argi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Argi in the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Argi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Valentine was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Damian Dimas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Valentine having to interfere. Damian Dimas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Nazario kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Varela's Aquilino Banegas in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caspichango AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Aquilino Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varela's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Banegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Guillen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Moises Uxio fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varela's protests and gave Moises Uxio a yellow card for diving instead.
