Teobaldo Maidana struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Placido Montrel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huacalera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Bermund in the 7th minute of play forced Taquimilán's goalkeeper Placido Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Huacalera's Humberto Iigo got a free kick in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Ulises Vincent recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paolo Dacio. Ulises Vincent showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Behe got free with Paolo Dacio in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute Bernardo Bermund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Mateus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Montrel having to interfere. If Teobaldo Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Pietro charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Pietro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Bernardo Bermund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huacalera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Taquimilán's zone, Teobaldo Maidana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Montrel came out of the goal and Teobaldo Maidana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Bermund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huacalera's Paolo Dacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Vincent in the 40th minute of play. Martin Berriotxoa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Ulises Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Maidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, Taquimilán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Pietro to maneuver through the defense. Taquimilán's Placido Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Maidana in the 49th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
After 52 played minutes Huacalera got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Ikatz. Ulises Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Jusepe kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Huacalera's Bernardo Bermund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Placido Montrel. Placido Montrel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Bernardo Bermund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernardo Bermund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Taquimilán's Astor Aresti got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Matias Behe might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Dacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Behe ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Huacalera's zone, Ulises Vincent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Dacio came out of the goal and Ulises Vincent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Behe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Paolo Dacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Bernardo Bermund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Placido Montrel. Bernardo Bermund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The supporters of Taquimilán booed when Huacalera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Mateus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Teobaldo Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huacalera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Maidana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Huacalera's Paolo Dacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Vincent in the 97th minute of play.
