The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Abelardo Aballe put in a rough tackle. In the 24th minute, one of Noqueoj AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Noqueoj AFC. Conrado Fernanco shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 32nd minute, Paulino Matxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Ruben Nataniel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ampolla AFC's Cosme Navarro didn't even have to move. David Chaime took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Navarro. Cosme Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 38 minutes, Wilfredo Urritz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noqueoj AFC and the Ampolla AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Wilfredo Urritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavio Soin might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Gimenez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavio Soin ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes into the match, David Chaime notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ampolla AFC's Cosme Navarro. Cosme Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

56 minutes into the game, Conrado Fernanco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampolla AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noqueoj AFC the free kick. A collision led to Ampolla AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Conrado Fernanco hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Octavio Soin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Gimenez was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Chaime in the 62nd minute of play forced Noqueoj AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Gimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Noqueoj AFC's Wilfredo Urritz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Soin in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Gimenez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 69 minutes, Niceto Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ampolla AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Chaime was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octavio Soin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Gimenez having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Noqueoj AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Soin came free, but Aldo Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Arnaldo Celio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Arnoldo Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Basilio Urko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, David Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noqueoj AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Chaime was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
