When Nereo Nesor fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eldorado FC's protests and gave Nereo Nesor a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Robles booed when Eldorado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Llorienzo was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Rosendo Deunoro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rosendo Deunoro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jeronimo Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Maximiliano Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eldorado FC's Sergio Illart got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Teo Bermudez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Eldorado FC's Maximiliano Cordarius. Maximiliano Cordarius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Rosendo Deunoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eldorado FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Maximiliano Cordarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Bermudez in the 46th minute of play. Jeronimo Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Maximiliano Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Bermudez to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Nesor in the 53rd minute of play forced Robles's goalkeeper Dante Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rosendo Deunoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Robles's Maximiliano Cordarius threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teo Bermudez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Siro Demesio fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Robles's protests and gave Siro Demesio a yellow card for diving instead. Eldorado FC's Rosendo Deunoro managed to work through Robles's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rosendo Deunoro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Angel Bingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Cordarius having to interfere. Teo Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Maximiliano Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jeronimo Bordat came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Robles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Bordat couldn't finish the play. Many of Robles's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Robles may have spent more time on the ball, but Eldorado FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
