Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Hartz started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Raimundo Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justino Loren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Hartz's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Justino Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Hartz in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Curacó AFC's Ladislao Satordi got a free kick in the 8th minute. Raimundo Dolfo scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justino Loren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Justino Loren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Dolfo went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Raimundo Dolfo's late challenge caught a Curacó AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Dolfo helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Henric in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albano Garikoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albano Garikoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Bernad in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Bernad got free with Albano Garikoitz in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Curacó AFC's zone, Alberto Hartz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Loren came out of the goal and Alberto Hartz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justino Loren came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanús's Raimundo Dolfo. But to his dismay, Raimundo Dolfo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Justino Loren came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanús's Alberto Hartz. But to his dismay, Alberto Hartz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Raimundo Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 minutes, Gregorio Manny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanús and the Curacó AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gregorio Manny kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Curacó AFC defense, Silvano Platon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Loren. The Curacó AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Loren should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Ignacio Henric made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Lanús's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Bernad came free, but Albano Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Ignacio Henric left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curacó AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Jesus Deunoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Dolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Desiderio Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Lanús was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Curacó AFC's goalkeeper Justino Loren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Dolfo. Raimundo Dolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Loren having to interfere. Lanús's Alberto Hartz got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute Alberto Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Lanús's Alberto Hartz made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justino Loren was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the game, Desiderio Bernad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Albano Garikoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Lanús could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Curacó AFC throughout the match.
