Mateo Tallia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Bidun went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ismael Llorenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guasapampa's Justino Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Llorenc in the 25th minute of play. Fulgencio Mikelar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 minutes, Gerardo Txema mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guasapampa and the Cardoso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Gerardo Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cardoso booed when Guasapampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Llorenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Justino Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Llorenc in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Guasapampa getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sixto Evangelista hit a great ball. If Ismael Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gerardo Txema made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cardoso's zone, Gerardo Txema stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 57th match minute, Cardoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Llorenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Guasapampa fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Guasapampa's Joel Bidun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Angel Norino charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Norino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cardoso booed when Guasapampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cardoso's Mateo Tallia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Bidun in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Mikelar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justino Haimar. Guasapampa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Mikelar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 81 minutes into the match, Cardoso's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Bidun came free, but Mateo Tallia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Llorenc's late challenge caught a Guasapampa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Llorenc helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Cardoso got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Llorenc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Llorenc in the 88th minute of play forced Guasapampa's goalkeeper Justino Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Llorenc in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justino Haimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ismael Llorenc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Haimar having to make a save. The supporters of Guasapampa booed when Cardoso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Barea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Cardoso players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Guasapampa from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
