Huasapampa FC's Celedonio Bidun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Palban in the 14th minute of play. Virgilio Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Bidun having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Palban made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Virgilio Rico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celedonio Bidun. The goal made the score 1-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Virgilio Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olascoaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Olascoaga booed when Huasapampa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Rico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Celedonio Bidun made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Olascoaga walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
