Edgardo Cuarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Marcelino Matthew had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Cuarto. Copina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Matthew was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After recieving a nice pass, Murphy's Jacinto Mattin tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Daunte during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Honorato Daunte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Jacinto Tanio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 played minutes Murphy got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Odol. 26 minutes into the match, Murphy's Marcelino Matthew sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Cuarto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Murphy booed when Copina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murphy's Bruno Peruxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Benet in the 55th minute of play. Marcelino Matthew succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Jacinto Tanio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Tanio in the 84th minute of play forced Copina FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Cuarto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Copina FC's Edgardo Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Tanio in the 86th minute of play. Marcelino Matthew struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Edgardo Cuarto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murphy. In the 94th minute, Jacinto Tanio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Murphy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Copina FC.
