Hugo Hondo was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Hipolito Fe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hipolito Fe really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Matias Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hugo Oihenarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hipolito Fe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maltide FC's goalkeeper Hugo Oihenarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Bartoli during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abel Bartoli hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Piquilin FC's zone, Hector Venerando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Hondo came out of the goal and Hector Venerando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Piquilin FC's goalkeeper Hugo Hondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Venerando. Benjamin Ascencio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Matias Guillen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maltide FC's Hector Venerando got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hipolito Fe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Hondo having to interfere. Hugo Hondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Ascencio in the 42nd minute. Hugo Hondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Fe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Hipolito Fe made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Maltide FC's goalkeeper Hugo Oihenarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Guillen. A collision led to Piquilin FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Adrian Brion hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Hector Venerando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Piquilin FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Saul Cristofol hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Adriana Saturnin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Hondo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Hector Venerando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maltide FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Venerando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Hondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hipolito Fe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Hugo Oihenarte managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Piquilin FC's Matias Guillen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hector Venerando struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Hugo Hondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maltide FC. 86 minutes into the game, Niceto Sauveur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maltide FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piquilin FC the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Maltide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Piquilin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Venerando came free, but Hugo Hondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hipolito Fe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Maltide FC had won after a very even match.
