In the 3rd minute, Amador Garoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Amador Garoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Dario Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Filiberto Guilabertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fabiano FC's Cayetano Erlantz got a free kick in the 12th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Donato Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cangrejilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Herena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiberto Guilabertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Galo having to interfere. If Sixto Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cangrejilla FC's zone, Jairo Chepe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Galo came out of the goal and Jairo Chepe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceferino Galo came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Fabiano FC's Filiberto Guilabertus. But to his dismay, Filiberto Guilabertus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 29th minute, Fabiano FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ambrosio Hegoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fabiano FC's Jairo Chepe pulled a muscle in his leg after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Sixto Nisio fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cangrejilla FC's protests and gave Sixto Nisio a yellow card for diving instead. Sixto Nisio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fabiano FC's zone, Ambrosio Hegoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Eladio came out of the goal and Ambrosio Hegoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cangrejilla FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fabiano FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Amador Garoa made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Fabiano FC defense, Ambrosio Hegoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Eladio. The Fabiano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Eladio should have stopped the shot. Gaston Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ceferino Galo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amador Garoa struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dario Eladio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cangrejilla FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Garoa in the 68th minute of play forced Fabiano FC's goalkeeper Dario Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ceferino Galo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Sebastian Avellaneda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cangrejilla FC and the Fabiano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dario Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Filiberto Guilabertus charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiberto Guilabertus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fabiano FC's Filiberto Guilabertus got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cangrejilla FC's goalkeeper Ceferino Galo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Amador Garoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amador Garoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
