In the 2nd minute, Ricardo Castel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Estebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 9 played minutes Arana FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Vincente. If Placido Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Nerio in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lisandro Montel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Jakue was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. If Claudio Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Lartaun kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Amancio Estebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Suarez in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Montel in the 37th minute of play forced Vaqueros FC's goalkeeper Edgard Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Jakue came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Arana FC's Jimeno Vincente. But to his dismay, Jimeno Vincente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Juan Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Etxatxu made a kick off. With a little luck, Vaqueros FC's Edgard Jakue got control of the ball when Lisandro Montel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amancio Estebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Juan Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Juan Suarez came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Vaqueros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Suarez couldn't finish the play. Jimeno Vincente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Jakue having to interfere. Juan Suarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Estebe having to make a save. Amancio Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Suarez in the 91st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Claudio Etxatxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Estebe was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Atilano Gombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jimeno Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arana FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
