After 6 minutes, Eulalio Ixidor made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Donado's Bonifacio Sancho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Piearres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Cecilio Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Piearres having to interfere. Gabriel Piearres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseo Panpili's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Anier Feo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Santamarina FC's Gabriel Piearres. Gabriel Piearres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guaberto Hegoi in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bonifacio Sancho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 26 played minutes Donado got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Panpili. Santamarina FC's Eulalio Ixidor got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Donado got a freekick which was hit by Anier Feo. Bonifacio Sancho made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Guaberto Hegoi sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Guaberto Hegoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bonifacio Sancho. The goal made the score 2-1. After some careless play in the Donado defense, Guaberto Hegoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bonifacio Sancho. The Donado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bonifacio Sancho should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Donado's Cecilio Salamon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Piearres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute Cecilio Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Piearres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santamarina FC's Gabriel Piearres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Panpili in the 49th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Panpili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Santamarina FC's Guaberto Hegoi in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 66th minute, Honorato Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Santamarina FC's zone, Eliseo Panpili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Piearres came out of the goal and Eliseo Panpili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Santamarina FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Robustiano Iaki hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Donado's Cecilio Salamon got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Eulalio Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santamarina FC's Guaberto Hegoi got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Donado's Martin Eufemio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ubaldo Espiridion took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bonifacio Sancho. Donado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 3-2 became the score in the 85th minute when Eliseo Panpili elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Cecilio Salamon came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Donado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Salamon couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Piearres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Cecilio Salamon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
