Ildefonso Loreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escoya. Erasmo Fiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Erasmo Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 19 in the game by Erasmo Fiz from a close distance when the talented Ildefonso Loreto managed to make a qualified save. Padilla's players were relieved. Pastor Gaufred hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Erasmo Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Loreto having to interfere. Moises Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Loreto having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 41st minute when Godfredo Balesio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Godfredo Balesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escoya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Padilla the free kick. Godfredo Balesio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Zeledon Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Escoya getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Godfredo Balesio hit a great ball. With a little luck, Escoya's Romulo Atauri got control of the ball when Zeledon Inocente tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Padilla booed when Escoya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Karmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Padilla's Ildefonso Loreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Balesio in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Raimundo Servando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Inocente struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Romulo Atauri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padilla. Romulo Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Macias in the 84th minute of play. If Erasmo Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Padilla had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
