Natalio Aguilera's late challenge caught a Miraflores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Aguilera helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Trancas's Natalio Aguilera got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Haroldo Selatse made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Eutropio. Trancas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Artemio Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Sotil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Eutropio came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Miraflores's Patricio Demesio. But to his dismay, Patricio Demesio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luciano Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Lorenzo Sugar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luciano Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Sotil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Artemio Esiquio came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Trancas's Luciano Sotil. But to his dismay, Luciano Sotil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 56th minute, Lorenzo Sugar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Sotil might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artemio Esiquio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Sotil ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Miraflores's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Sugar came free, but Artemio Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Sotil in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Esiquio saved Miraflores from getting behind. Artemio Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Sugar in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Sotil in the 70th minute of play forced Miraflores's goalkeeper Artemio Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luciano Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Sugar scored 2-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Esiquio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Trancas's Tomás Eutropio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Trancas from getting a goal against them. Miraflores's Artemio Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Sotil in the 83rd minute of play. Patricio Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
