The supporters of Godoy AFC booed when Animán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Jacindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Quexal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Eusko having to interfere. Alberto Perpinya came out of the goal and Andres Dominic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Federico Vargas's late challenge caught a Animán FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
