After a rather tough play, Rigby AFC's Melquiades Bazkoare got a free kick in the 17th minute. Apolo Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Goiz having to interfere. Rigby AFC's Damaso Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Baumer in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Sancho during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oscar Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Dominguez in the 27th minute of play. Albano Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Esteban Oriol's late challenge caught a Rigby AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Oriol helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Soven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Oriol to maneuver through the defense. If Albano Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 62nd minute, Gilberto Guillelmo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damaso Urre. The goal made the score 0-2. Gilberto Guillelmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Damaso Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Ospetsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Apolo Dominguez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Oscar Goiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damaso Urre made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Emiliano Ospetsu sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the game, Gilberto Guillelmo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damaso Urre. Gilberto Guillelmo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Guillelmo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damaso Urre saved Rigby AFC from getting behind. Damaso Urre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Ospetsu went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. If Gilberto Guillelmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the last second Damaso Urre throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gilberto Guillelmo in the 92ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Emiliano Ospetsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
