Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Apolo Dominguez took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Manuel Aureo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Animán FC's protests and gave Manuel Aureo a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Dominic got free with Damaso Urre in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albano Quinto kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Pastor Gutierrez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rigby AFC and the Animán FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rigby AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Pastor Gutierrez hit a great ball. Apolo Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Albano Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Animán FC's zone, Albano Quinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Eusko came out of the goal and Albano Quinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Quinto in the 35th minute of play. If Apolo Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Animán FC's Fausto Eusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Quinto in the 39th minute of play. Manuel Aureo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Clemente Bidun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Damaso Urre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Andres Dominic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fausto Eusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute Clemente Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Albano Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rigby AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Quinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Eusko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Apolo Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Albano Quinto came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Rigby AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Quinto couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Rigby AFC's Apolo Dominguez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fausto Eusko. Fausto Eusko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Apolo Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Eusko having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Apolo Dominguez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Eusko was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Rigby AFC defense, Andres Dominic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damaso Urre. The Rigby AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damaso Urre should have stopped the shot. Apolo Dominguez might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Eusko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Dominguez ran back to his position shaking his head. Rigby AFC played a much better game than Animán FC and deserved their victory. The Animán FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
