After 7 minutes, Felipe Gelmiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Totoral AFC and the Camarones AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Totoral AFC's Enrique Lleir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Bermund in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Isaac Bermund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camarones AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Bermund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Rufo in the 19th minute of play forced Totoral AFC's goalkeeper Enrique Lleir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Lleir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Bermund, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Abel Gauargi might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiberto Acuña. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Gauargi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Pedro Rufo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Lleir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Milio in the 35th minute of play. Eulalio Montrelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Camarones AFC defense, Eulalio Montrelle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiberto Acuña. The Camarones AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiberto Acuña should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Pedro Rufo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camarones AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Rufo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Lleir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Totoral AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Bermund came free, but Enrique Lleir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pedro Rufo made the kick off in the second half. Isaac Bermund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Montrelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Filiberto Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eulalio Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Totoral AFC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Camarones AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reynaldo Montes took the corner. The corner ended in Reynaldo Montes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Camarones AFC's Filiberto Acuña did a great save. The supporters of Totoral AFC booed when Camarones AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Bermund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Acuña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Montrelle in the 62nd minute of play. Filiberto Acuña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Totoral AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pedro Rufo 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Filiberto Acuña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Enrique Lleir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Bermund in the 78th minute. Filiberto Acuña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Montrelle in the 80th minute of the match.
