If Abel Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Iztal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Iztal in the 9th minute of play. Iturreguí's Virgilio Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Artizar in the 13th minute of play. Carlos Paz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Matias Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gorchs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Artizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Iztal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Matias Artizar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgilio Ongile. Iturreguí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Artizar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Abel Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Artizar in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Abel Iztal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gorchs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Virgilio Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Ongile came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gorchs's Abel Iztal. But to his dismay, Abel Iztal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Virgilio Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Iztal in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Artizar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Iturreguí's zone, Abel Iztal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Ongile came out of the goal and Abel Iztal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Maximo Beila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Iztal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Virgilio Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Matias Artizar lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Virgilio Ongile. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Danilo Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iturreguí's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Jakue was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Urtsin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Iturreguí's goalkeeper Virgilio Ongile had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Iztal. The Iturreguí fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gorchs were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
