In the 30th minute Adan Pereyra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Chumo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Lapurdi in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Tadzio saved Calabacilla AFC from getting behind. Adan Pereyra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cienaguita's Anacleto Chumo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Etxepare in the 38th minute of play. Niceto Benitez hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Etxepare was the one to do the kick off. Jaime Etxepare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 played minutes Cienaguita got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Seme. Adan Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Chumo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita's Niceto Benitez got a free kick in the 58th minute. Humberto Tadzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Lapurdi in the 61st minute of the match. Humberto Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Lapurdi in the 66th minute of play. Ildefonso Constancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Tadzio having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Leonides Lapurdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Lapurdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Etxepare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Anacleto Chumo made a huge save. Leonides Lapurdi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Tadzio having to make a save. Anacleto Chumo made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Jaime Etxepare sent off a good shot on target. Jaime Etxepare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Calabacilla AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cienaguita from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
