Joel Oier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fabian Hernandez fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uturungo FC's protests and gave Fabian Hernandez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Trelew booed when Uturungo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Oier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Hotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fabian Hernandez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Uturungo FC's Fabian Hernandez got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Uturungo FC booed when Trelew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Bertol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Abelardo Hotz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uturungo FC's Efrain Salvino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Uturungo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Fraco came free, but Efrain Salvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Uturungo FC defense, Saturnino Fraco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Salvino. The Uturungo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Salvino should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Fraco in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Salvino saved Uturungo FC from getting behind. Saturnino Fraco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Salvino having to interfere. In the 42nd play minute Abelardo Hotz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Efrain Salvino. 2-0. Efrain Salvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Fraco in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Julian Jaens short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Joel Oier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th match minute, Trelew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Poz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Uturungo FC booed when Trelew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Gauargi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Oier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fausto Bittor. Julian Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Joel Oier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnino Fraco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, Trelew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Gauargi to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Cucao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Joel Oier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodolfo Cucao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uturungo FC's Efrain Salvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Fraco in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Uturungo FC's zone, Saturnino Fraco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Salvino came out of the goal and Saturnino Fraco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Trelew were victorious despite being under pressure from Uturungo FC for much of the match.
