The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Calisto in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Frisco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ezequiel Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fabian Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ceibalito getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Segundo Medardo hit a great ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Calisto to make the kick off. Marcial Isauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Frances went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ezequiel Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Marcial Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ceibalito defense, Ezequiel Gaxan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Isauro. The Ceibalito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Isauro should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ceibalito's Isidro Pirro got a free kick in the 70th minute. Genaro Frisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Calisto in the 72nd minute of the match. Fabian Frances's late challenge caught a Ceibalito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Frances helped the player get up and apologised. Fabian Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Segundo Norino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Frisco having to interfere. With a little luck, Napaleofú FC's Genaro Frisco got control of the ball when Segundo Norino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Napaleofú FC's Pascual Leocadio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Angel Calisto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Genaro Frisco. The goal made the score 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Napaleofú FC's zone, Angel Calisto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Frisco came out of the goal and Angel Calisto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Frisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to Napaleofú FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Saul Maureo hit a great ball. Joaquin Haritz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ezequiel Gaxan struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Marcial Isauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Napaleofú FC. Napaleofú FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ceibalito to leave the ground with a draw.
