Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narciso Semeno started the match with the kick off. Iker Otsoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Severo Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Domingo Suero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matambre's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Suero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severo Rencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severo Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Suero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Matambre booed when Goyena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, Matambre's Erasmo Chuse shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Severo Rencio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Matambre reached it. After 18 played minutes Goyena got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Ermano. Goyena's Severo Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Otsoa in the 25th minute of play. Celedonio Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Iker Otsoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gaudencio Eladio fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matambre's protests and gave Gaudencio Eladio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Gaudencio Eladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Domingo Suero made a precise shot to the right of Severo Rencio. Goyena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Iker Otsoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Rencio having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingo Suero made a kick off. Domingo Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Rencio having to interfere. A collision led to Goyena getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Celedonio Umea hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Domingo Suero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Semeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Intxixu having to make a save. After some careless play in the Matambre defense, Constantino Millan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Intxixu. The Matambre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Intxixu should have stopped the shot. Iker Otsoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Severo Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Rencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Suero in the 80th minute of the match. Nicanor Argi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Severo Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Aquilino Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Narciso Semeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goyena's Severo Rencio couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Luisito Abar shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 97th minute, 2-3.
