An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Alvarez in the 3rd minute of play forced Carrizalito's goalkeeper Filomeno Cambranes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Timoteo Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Carrizalito's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Alvarez came free, but Filomeno Cambranes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Filomeno Cambranes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Nalo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Timoteo Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filomeno Cambranes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Alvarez in the 29th minute of the match. Augusto Cebrian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Bartuelo having to interfere. When Nereo Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Manantiales AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Alvarez couldn't finish the play. Timoteo Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Bartuelo having to interfere. If Augusto Cebrian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Carrizalito players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manantiales AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nereo Alvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enrique Patxi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Bartuelo having to make a save. Timoteo Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Manantiales AFC's zone, Timoteo Peru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Bartuelo came out of the goal and Timoteo Peru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Carrizalito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manantiales AFC:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Cebrian in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Bartuelo saved Manantiales AFC from getting behind. After 77 played minutes Manantiales AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Darien. Fidel Bartuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Cebrian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Augusto Cebrian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrizalito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Fidel Bartuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Peru in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Peru in the 85th minute of play forced Manantiales AFC's goalkeeper Fidel Bartuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Augusto Cebrian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fidel Bartuelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nereo Alvarez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filomeno Cambranes came out and tried to block the shot, but Nereo Alvarez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Manantiales AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
