A collision led to Victoria getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ermegildo Fix hit a great ball. If Leandro Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoria's Haroldo Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Franco in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Victoria booed when Ideazabal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes of play, Victoria's Leandro Sal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guido Louis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18thth minute of the game Valentin Barrionuevo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ideazabal FC's Guido Louis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leandro Sal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guido Louis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Ideazabal FC's Artemio Franco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Artemio Franco came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ideazabal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Franco couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Ideazabal FC's Artemio Franco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Savion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victoria's Haroldo Savion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Victoria from getting a goal against them. After having played for 46 minutes, Leandro Sal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Sal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Franco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Franco in the 51st minute of play forced Victoria's goalkeeper Haroldo Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Louis having to interfere. The supporters of Victoria booed when Ideazabal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Raymond didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Artemio Franco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bruno Gipuzkoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Guido Louis made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria's zone, Artemio Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Savion came out of the goal and Artemio Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eleuterio Telo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ideazabal FC's Guido Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Sal in the 68th minute of play. Valentin Barrionuevo's late challenge caught a Ideazabal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Barrionuevo helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Barrionuevo. 71 minutes into the match, Ideazabal FC's Inocencio Gaztea broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Sal in the 78th minute of play forced Ideazabal FC's goalkeeper Guido Louis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Evis in the 80th minute of play forced Victoria's goalkeeper Haroldo Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoria's Valentin Barrionuevo got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Valentin Barrionuevo off the ground. In the 85th minute, Valentin Barrionuevo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Siro Evis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
