An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Savion in the 9th minute of play forced Victoria's goalkeeper Haroldo Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Leandro Sal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Anselmo Caitano to make any attempt to save it. Haroldo Savion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Phelipe in the 22nd minute of the match. If Bruno Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 37 minutes, Aurelio Lobo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Victoria and the Leones AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentin Barrionuevo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Leones AFC's Teobaldo Mede broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godofredo Phelipe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Victoria getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ermegildo Fix hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Mede got free with Haroldo Savion in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the game, Leandro Sal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Anselmo Caitano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leones AFC's Anselmo Caitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Gipuzkoa in the 61st minute of play. Hugo Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Savion having to interfere. Haroldo Savion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Phelipe in the 65th minute of the match. If Godofredo Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Victoria getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jorge Tome hit a great ball. Victoria's Bruno Gipuzkoa got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haroldo Savion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Savion in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Arnulfo Erlantz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Haroldo Savion, passed just outside the right post. In the 93rd minute, Ermegildo Fix sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Leones AFC's Anselmo Caitano didn't even have to move. Leandro Sal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Caitano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
