Maximiliano Gonzalez charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Gonzalez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Navarro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Millrick having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Benedicto Romero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Navarro FC's Guaberto Millrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Leonel Nuñez came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Divisadero AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Nuñez couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Divisadero AFC booed when Navarro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Madeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Dubardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Jatsu having to interfere. Emanuel Baladi in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucas Jatsu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leonides Cayo's late challenge caught a Navarro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Cayo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Divisadero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Cayo to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Navarro FC defense, Ezequiel Colon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Millrick. The Navarro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Millrick should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Navarro FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Millrick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Divisadero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Ursino. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Nuñez during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Leonel Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 50 minutes Divisadero AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeronimo Isias who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Emanuel Bastiaro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonides Cayo got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 56 played minutes Divisadero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Cayo. When Emanuel Baladi came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Navarro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Baladi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Dubardo in the 70th minute of play forced Divisadero AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Jatsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Ursino's late challenge caught a Navarro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Ursino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Divisadero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Ursino to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Vladimiro Dubardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Jatsu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Navarro FC's Vladimiro Dubardo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Jatsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Baladi in the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Serafino Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divisadero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Jenaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimiro Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Colon got free with Guaberto Millrick in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Navarro FC's Vladimiro Dubardo got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Divisadero AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
