In the 14th minute Benedicto Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Lamberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Lamberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Octavio Caton came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pedernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Caton couldn't finish the play. When Octavio Caton fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pedernal's protests and gave Octavio Caton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Octavio Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Lamberto having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Ezequiel Colon made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pedernal's Niceto Lamberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucas Jatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Rainerio in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Benedicto Romero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedernal's Niceto Lamberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diego Rainerio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Jatsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Lucas Jatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Caton in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedicto Romero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Divisadero AFC's Lucas Jatsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Rainerio in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Divisadero AFC booed when Pedernal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Luix didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 minutes, Ezequiel Colon made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pedernal's Niceto Lamberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Pedernal's zone, Benedicto Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Lamberto came out of the goal and Benedicto Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Caton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavio Caton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucas Jatsu came out and tried to block the shot, but Octavio Caton slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 72nd minute. Leonel Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Rainerio in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Jatsu saved Divisadero AFC from getting behind. Ezequiel Colon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Octavio Caton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Lucas Jatsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Divisadero AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
