Patricios's Fidel Kiliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Txaran in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ernestina's Mario Jenaro got a free kick in the 12th minute. Sixto Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Aquilino Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Nunez Evis managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Patricios's Gaudencio Dolfo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Julio Txaran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Kiliz was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. If Julio Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nunez Evis came out of the goal and Aquilino Lesardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the game, Carolo Celipe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patricios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ernestina the free kick. Carolo Celipe kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Godofredo Gilesindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ernestina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Gilesindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Txaran might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Kiliz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julio Txaran ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Godofredo Gilesindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ernestina's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Gilesindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Kiliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godofredo Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Txaran was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Ernestina's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fidel Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Gilesindo in the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Txaran got free with Fidel Kiliz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Godofredo Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernestina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
