The referee ignored Carolina AFC's protests and gave Americo Donio a yellow card for diving instead. Americo Donio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Dionisio Hunfredo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Mario Gurutz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Venceslao was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After 20 minutes, Mario Gurutz made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carolina AFC's Antonio Venceslao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Roano charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Roano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Esquina's Ernesto Roano got a free kick in the 24th minute. Gustavo Federigo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Romulo Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriana Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Gurutz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Venceslao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Justino Ekhi took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Adriana Eate to make any attempt to save it. If Mario Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, Carolina AFC's Justino Ekhi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adriana Eate. Adriana Eate yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Esquina's Adriana Eate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Ekhi in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Justino Ekhi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adriana Eate, 3-3. Jimeno Abella hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A collision led to Esquina getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Bernabe Erdiano hit a great ball. Romulo Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Adriana Eate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Medardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Casomiro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Justino Ekhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Anibal Artal put in a rough tackle. Adriana Eate went to the wrong direction when Baldomero Polo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Baldomero Polo sped through Esquina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adriana Eate. The supporters of Carolina AFC booed when Esquina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
