Remigio Asier might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Gonchan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remigio Asier ran back to his position shaking his head. Remigio Asier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maximino Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rdth minute of the game Maximino Fernanco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bermejo FC's Gilberto Gonchan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Remigio Asier fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienaguilla FC's protests and gave Remigio Asier a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cienaguilla FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Remigio Asier hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cienaguilla FC's Eustacio Buinton got a free kick in the 35th minute. Marciano Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Severo Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Marciano Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bermejo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Bautista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severo Ayala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Marciano Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bermejo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Azibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute, Maximino Fernanco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gilberto Gonchan, passed just outside the right post. Remigio Asier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Gonchan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justo Azibar to make the kick off. Maximino Fernanco struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gilberto Gonchan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cienaguilla FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Luzaide during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bermejo FC's Gilberto Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Asier in the 86th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Justo Azibar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Severo Ayala. That made the score 0-1 in the 90 minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Marciano Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bermejo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Ayala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Bautista in the 99th minute. The Cienaguilla FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bermejo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bermejo FC.
