Rosendo Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Piorno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Piorno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rosendo Millan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Distiratsu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Avellaneda AFC's Rosendo Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Incendio in the 31st minute of play. In the 39th minute, Haroldo Incendio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Millan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vargas's Haroldo Incendio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ernesto Venerando made the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Incendio got free with Rosendo Millan in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaspar Baldovino came out of the goal and Ernesto Venerando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anier Piorno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, Avellaneda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Blanco to maneuver through the defense. Anier Piorno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hilario Blanco hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Hilario Blanco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avellaneda AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vargas the free kick. Hilario Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
