Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Venancio Eron started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gaspar Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Tanio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Malbrán defense, Anier Piorno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Cordeal. The Malbrán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Cordeal should have stopped the shot. Vargas's Anier Piorno got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Anier Piorno came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Vargas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Piorno couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romulo Montel during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 minutes, Rigoberto Abella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vargas and the Malbrán players grew even worse after the yellow card. Haroldo Incendio kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Gogo Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vargas's zone, Gogo Tanio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Baldovino came out of the goal and Gogo Tanio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uriel Jusepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anier Piorno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anier Piorno to strike the kick off in the second half. Venancio Eron scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Baldovino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gualterio Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Incendio in the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Incendio in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Cordeal saved Malbrán from getting behind. Venancio Eron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gaspar Baldovino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play, Malbrán's Gogo Tanio made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Baldovino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venancio Eron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Cordeal having to interfere. Lino Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Gaspar Baldovino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Eron, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute, Haroldo Incendio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vargas booed when Malbrán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Montel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Malbrán could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vargas throughout the match.
