If Mariano Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Blas Beltxe came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Sarasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Beltxe couldn't finish the play. Erubiel Distiratsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Sarasa got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Mincho. After 15 played minutes, Avellaneda AFC's Julio Oroitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Ricart came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Avellaneda AFC reached it. The audience was convinced that Erubiel Distiratsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Ricart was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 20th play minute Blas Beltxe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rosendo Millan. 1-0. With a left leg Rosendo Millan saved Avellaneda AFC from getting behind. Mariano Damario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rosendo Millan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sarasa's Joaquin Ricart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Venerando in the 41st minute of play. Avellaneda AFC's Ernesto Venerando got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Distiratsu in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Ricart saved Sarasa from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Venerando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Avellaneda AFC's Erubiel Distiratsu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Domingo Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Distiratsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Joaquin Ricart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Beltxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Venerando in the 64th minute of play forced Sarasa's goalkeeper Joaquin Ricart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Venerando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Ricart was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Rosendo Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Mincho in the 88th minute of the match. Joaquin Ricart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Venerando's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Avellaneda AFC's Rosendo Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Beltxe in the 93rd minute of play. Sarasa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
