The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Domeka during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Vargas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Domeka to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Estevez, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Joaquin Ricart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Incendio in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Sarasa's Carolo Mincho got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mariano Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Baldovino having to interfere. Gaspar Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Beltxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Damario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Tonio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Sarasa's goalkeeper Joaquin Ricart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Incendio. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Damario was the one to do the kick off. Sarasa's Joaquin Ricart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Piorno in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Carolo Mincho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Baldovino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Damario, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Joel Oliverios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vargas the free kick. Joel Oliverios hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Anier Piorno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th match minute, Vargas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Jusepe to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Mariano Damario recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaspar Baldovino. Mariano Damario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Blas Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sarasa's Mariano Damario got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Vargas booed when Sarasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Abella, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
