Adan Frutos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Oinaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Amadeo Bastian might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Oinaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Ferran, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 9th match minute, Purmamarca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Heli to maneuver through the defense. If Angel Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Oroitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bonifacio Ilixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Rigoberto Henric hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Oroitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bonifacio Ilixo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Oroitz's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Purmamarca's Leo Heli got a free kick in the 25th minute. The Echagüe fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Echagüe's Clemente Oroitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ovidio Oinaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Bastian in the 33rd minute. Adan Frutos might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Oinaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Oinaz having to interfere. If Angel Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adan Frutos to make the kick off. In the 59thth minute of the game Adan Frutos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Echagüe's Ovidio Oinaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adan Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Oinaz having to interfere. Ovidio Oinaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Henric charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Henric the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rigoberto Henric kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Clemente Oroitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Purmamarca getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Rigoberto Henric hit a great ball. Ovidio Oinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Bastian, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When the match was over Echagüe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Purmamarca throughout the match.
