Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Günther's Donato Oriol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Isaias Jerano came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Günther fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Jerano couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Günther booed when Mataldi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Kelemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Kelemen during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Generoso Kelemen kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Ciro Toribio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Vigil skillfully saved the ball. Donato Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Emilio Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Admon in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donato Oriol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Vigil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Isaias Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes, Benicio Tristan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Günther and the Mataldi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Günther got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Tristan. After recieving a nice pass, Mataldi's Lino Lorenz tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Günther's Roman Ofelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Vigil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Mataldi getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gaudencio Betadur hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Mataldi got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Betadur. Donato Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Vigil having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Admon to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Danilo Admon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute Mataldi were awarded a corner. Lino Lorenz went to the cornerflag to take it. Isaias Jerano hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Danilo Admon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataldi's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Admon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Isaac Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Isaias Jerano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Frechoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Admon's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. If Danilo Admon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Donato Oriol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Vigil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Betadur kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, Günther was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Ibon to maneuver through the defense. Laureano Faron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Frechoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. If Laureano Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Faron might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Frechoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Faron ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaac Frechoso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Mataldi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
