Blas Bordat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Arrecifes AFC's Ceferino Gumaro got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calafate AFC's Blas Bordat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Gumaro in the 16th minute of play. Ceferino Gumaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Blas Bordat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Firmo in the 24th minute of the match. Blas Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Gumaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Ceferino Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorio Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Firmo in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the Calafate AFC defense, Ceferino Gumaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Bordat. The Calafate AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Bordat should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Calafate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Sengrat came free, but Blas Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Eusebio Chucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Urre having to interfere. If Bernabe Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Arrecifes AFC's zone, Eusebio Chucho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Urre came out of the goal and Eusebio Chucho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernabe Firmo took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorio Urre. Victorio Urre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, Calafate AFC's Cecilio Muno got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Arrecifes AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
