Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Florentino Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Gonzales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Palmar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Machado to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Estevez struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Danilo Quico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maizales. Florentino Urtun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Gonzales came out and tried to block the shot, but Florentino Urtun slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Eustaquio Oliverios kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Palmar getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Victorino Barto hit a great ball. Danilo Quico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Palmar's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Estevez came free, but Danilo Quico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palmar's zone, Pascual Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Quico came out of the goal and Pascual Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Arnulfo Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maizales's Pascual Estevez got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palmar's Danilo Quico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Estevez in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascual Estevez to strike the kick off in the second half. If Teo Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Urtun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Iruinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alberto Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Florentino Urtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Urtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Gonzales having to interfere. Alberto Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Urtun in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Maizales getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Epifanio Leobardo hit a great ball. The supporters of Maizales booed when Palmar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Cordarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pascual Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Maizales's Silvestre Vimaro got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Wilfredo Cordarin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Gonzales skillfully saved the ball. Danilo Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Octavio Tabs short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Danilo Quico to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Palmar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
