The Goldey AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Joseph should have stopped the shot. Arnulfo Vedillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Michael in the 27th minute. Gervasio Joseph showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Isidro Tximitx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isidro Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Endira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnulfo Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Michael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Joseph showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gervasio Joseph made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Luciano Tonete sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Cienega's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Michael came free, but Arnulfo Vedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Florencio Jacob mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cienega and the Goldey AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florencio Jacob kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Severino Endira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Gaueko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnulfo Vedillo. Cienega's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isidro Tximitx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Goldey AFC's Antonio Salvadore got a free kick in the 78th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Cienega's Luciano Tonete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Joseph narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Antonio Salvadore came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Goldey AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Salvadore couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
