Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Horacio Caradaro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, San Lorenzo Arenales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Gorka to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Lordi got free with Artemio Arnas in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fidel Lordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Artemio Arnas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Celino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Recalde's Felix Balendin. Felix Balendin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amancio Ceandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fidel Lordi came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Artemio Arnas could save by the left post. If Horacio Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of San Lorenzo Arenales booed when Recalde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Fagondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloy Evangelista, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Recalde getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Saverio Gilesindo hit a great ball. Felix Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Ceandro in the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Arnulfo Celino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo Arenales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Celino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnulfo Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Balendin having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Artemio Arnas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 70th minute, Saverio Gilesindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Amancio Ceandro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Lordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Recalde's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Ceandro came free, but Felix Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Recalde got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Caradaro. After 80 minutes, Horacio Caradaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recalde and the San Lorenzo Arenales players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Recalde got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Caradaro. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Arnulfo Celino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Arnulfo Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Amancio Ceandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Recalde's Hermengildo Jurgi tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arnulfo Celino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Felix Balendin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Lorenzo Arenales had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
