U21's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Gilesindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Recalde's Felix Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Dino in the 24th minute of play. Cesar Blai was slow to take the kick. During this time Bazinga! U21's players had a chance to rest. Fidel Lordi struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Oscar Iraido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recalde. Erasmo Dino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Balendin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bazinga! U21's Abel Mon got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Erasmo Dino made the kick off in the second half. If Horacio Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes, Saverio Gilesindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recalde and the Bazinga! U21 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saverio Gilesindo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A hard shot 67 in the game by Marcelino Galeno from a close distance when the talented Felix Balendin managed to make a qualified save. Recalde's players were relieved. In the 68th minute, Fidel Lordi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Abel Mon fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bazinga! U21's protests and gave Abel Mon a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Bazinga! U21 got a freekick which was hit by Abel Mon. Diego Joanes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Recalde's Zeledon Guerau got a free kick in the 78th minute. Recalde's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Erasmo Dino scored to the left of an out of position Felix Balendin, making the score, 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
