In the 29th minute of the match Froilan Refugio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godofredo Elizardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Victorio Birjaio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Birjaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Garayalde FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Victorio Birjaio hit a great ball. Luisito Elia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. When Bernabe Cesaro fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nintendo FC's protests and gave Bernabe Cesaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Nintendo FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Cesaro. Leonides Abel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Mambru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Leonides Abel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Mambru was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 91 minutes into the match, Garayalde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Lorenz came free, but Godofredo Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nintendo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
