Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Adan Ascencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orán and the capt fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adan Ascencio hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ovidio Lonzo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ovidio Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Venceslas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jonas Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Orán's zone, Hermengildo Guzman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Blanco came out of the goal and Hermengildo Guzman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Elpidio Txurio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of capt fc's Valentin Bartuelo. Valentin Bartuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Guzman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Blanco. Orán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Guzman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Orán's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Venceslas came free, but Jonas Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Orán getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Aquilino Favila hit a great ball. Guido Tiadoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jonas Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of capt fc booed when Orán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Cibran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jonas Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.
capt fc's Felipe Chaime got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Aquilino Favila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 57 minutes, Hermengildo Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. capt fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Guzman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Ovidio Lonzo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonas Blanco. Ovidio Lonzo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. After 64 minutes of play Orán's Aquilino Favila was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Orán's Aquilino Favila got a free kick in the 65th minute. Hermengildo Guzman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Blanco having to make a save. If Hermengildo Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to capt fc getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Guido Tiadoro hit a great ball. Ciro Rodas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Orán's zone, Hermengildo Guzman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Blanco came out of the goal and Hermengildo Guzman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ovidio Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. capt fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Lonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Blanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Orán's zone, Guido Tiadoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Blanco came out of the goal and Guido Tiadoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Venceslas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jonas Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When capt fc's Felipe Chaime in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orán's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Hermengildo Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. capt fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Guzman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gustavo Venceslas came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the capt fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Venceslas couldn't finish the play. capt fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
