The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Tuste stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Velasco got free with Leonides Romelio in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magdalena's Leonides Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Tuste in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Nicolas Fernendo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonides Romelio. The goal made the score 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Defensores de Colón left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Magdalena.
