Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Monte FC's Gerardo Confesor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benjamin Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Koldo in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th minute Godfredo Koldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Giro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Olavarría FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Confesor came free, but Ovidio Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Jenaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Godfredo Koldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Monte FC's zone, Elias Ofelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Giro came out of the goal and Elias Ofelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Gerardo Confesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Ihazintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Koldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Benjamin Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Godfredo Koldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Ofelio to make the kick off. Godfredo Koldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Giro having to interfere. Benjamin Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Ofelio in the 55th minute of the match. If Elias Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Monte FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Vistruario. When Godfredo Kemen came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Monte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Kemen couldn't finish the play. If Gerardo Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Benjamin Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Giro having to interfere. Benjamin Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Ofelio in the 86th minute of the match. Fausto Vistruario's late challenge caught a Olavarría FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Vistruario helped the player get up and apologised. Fausto Vistruario kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With his leg Benjamin Giro managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Olavarría FC's Godfredo Koldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 93 minutes into the match, Olavarría FC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Vincente came free, but Ovidio Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Ihazintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Vincente, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
