Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Atilano Salbatore started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Atilano Salbatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Clemente Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Iban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Gaskon having to interfere. Vertientes FC's Clemente Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Salbatore in the 13th minute of play. Vertientes FC's Clemente Gaskon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Vertientes FC from getting a goal against them. Clemente Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Salbatore in the 16th minute of the match. Javier Iban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Laureano Elivareo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atilano Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Gaskon having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Nereo Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vertientes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Pirro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vertientes FC's Nereo Pirro got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Aquiles Cresencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Platon, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 38 minutes into the match, El bidón de Branco's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Elivareo came free, but Rodolfo Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Gaskon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Javier Iban in the 42nd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Elivareo made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Pirro got free with Rodolfo Weterio in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in El bidón de Branco's zone, Laureano Elivareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Weterio came out of the goal and Laureano Elivareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Elivareo in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Weterio saved El bidón de Branco from getting behind. In the 74th match minute, Vertientes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Belo to maneuver through the defense. When Raul Gau fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El bidón de Branco's protests and gave Raul Gau a yellow card for diving instead. Raul Gau hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Gregorio Platon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodolfo Weterio. El bidón de Branco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Clemente Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The excitement rose when Vertientes FC's Gregorio Platon after 91 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for El bidón de Branco's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. The Vertientes FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vertientes FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
