In the 15th match minute, A.A.Estudiantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Ruy to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Quebrachitos AFC booed when A.A.Estudiantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Arkadiusz Bartoszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Sliwinski hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A.A.Estudiantes's Edgardo Ruy got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Octavio Viator struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Virgilio Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A.Estudiantes. After 47 minutes, Arkadiusz Bartoszek made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Quebrachitos AFC's Virgilio Neto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Illan to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, A.A.Estudiantes's Filomeno Baudelio got a free kick in the 75th minute. Samuel Calvino struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Vinicio Cesario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebrachitos AFC. Vinicio Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Ulizes in the 80th minute of the match. Vinicio Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Laurynas Barauskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Viator, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
