After a defensive mix-up in Ocho Quesos's zone, Isaac Marin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Gauargi came out of the goal and Isaac Marin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Marin in the 5th minute of play forced Ocho Quesos's goalkeeper Mario Gauargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Magdaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mario Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Ebardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Lano in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Calmayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Diagur to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, Federico Pelayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calmayo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ocho Quesos the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Calmayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Pelayo to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Ebardo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Magdaleno in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Gauargi saved Ocho Quesos from getting behind. The supporters of Calmayo FC booed when Ocho Quesos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Argina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Ebardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Magdaleno in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Gauargi saved Ocho Quesos from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Marin to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Eloy Lano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Constantino Ebardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 57 played minutes Ocho Quesos got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Lizar. Leonides Alfonso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Donato Magdaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calmayo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Magdaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Gauargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Marin in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Ocho Quesos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Calmayo FC's Anastasio Diagur got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Matias Olivar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Calmayo FC's Constantino Ebardo didn't even have to move. The supporters of Calmayo FC booed when Ocho Quesos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Tome didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Clemente Sindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ocho Quesos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Sindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Silvio Lizar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ocho Quesos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calmayo FC the free kick. If Donato Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Gauargi having to interfere. Ocho Quesos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
